H. David Abbott

 

Mr. Abbott has had a very successful business career in sales and marketing. This success was derived by his early studies at Riverside Military Academy, Arkansas State University, and his employment as President of Paul Abbott Company Inc. At the age of twenty three, as President / CEO of Paul Abbott Company Inc, Mr. Abbott was involved in designing and patenting agricultural machinery. Additionally Mr. Abbott successfully implemented a national distribution network of agricultural implement dealers. For this achievement Mr. Abbott was recognized in the who's who of Manufacturing Marketing Executives as the youngest Manufacturing Marketing Executive ever to receive this prestigious award.

 

In 1981 Mr. Abbott entered the Insurance profession. Mr. Abbott attended several Insurance schools and programs. Some of the instructing Insurance companies were Aetna Life and Casualty, Farm Bureau Insurance Company, American National Insurance Company, ReliaStar, and The Travelers Insurance Company. 

 

In 1990 after a successful career as a life and casualty agent, Mr. Abbott again expanded his horizons with thoughts of implementing a Health and Welfare plan to be sold and marketed nationally. The plan would be governed by ERISA and not be confined by the constraints of individual state regulations. For more than a year Mr. Abbott studied ERISA laws and definitions.

 

Mr. Abbott has experience in Taft-Hartley, as well as ERISA Benefit Trust plans as he has implemented several programs with different Unions, Associations, and Affiliates nationally. Experienced in working with wage banks, collective bargained benefits, non-union employee benefits, and tax saving employer benefits, Mr. Abbott's experience has added greatly to a plan of benefits accepted nationally by employers and employees respectively.
